Day 1
Our concept for a Medicinal Plant Garden was adopted by the Lake Chapala Society.
We envisioned a crossroads where people could grow plants for healing purposes, where information as to how to grow, process and use said plants is openly shared by all interested parties, where the wealth of oral Mexican tradition and healers is appreciated, highlighted and freely communicated.
"The use of medicinal plants as a therapeutic resource is widespread throughout the world, and 67% of medicinal plant species come from developing countries."

We love reusing resources such as found gravel for our walkway.
We even had a ribbon cutting ceremony to top off all the work.
