Benefit Kermes on Saturday, Sept. 16th, 2023 from 8 a.m. to closing.

You are cordially invited to join us at our benefit Kermes
on Saturday, Sept. 16th, 2023
from 8 a.m. to closing, in the early evening.

Kermes is a bazaar and is usually a fundraiser where rides, games, music, dancing and food are available.
Ours will be held at the Malecon in Ajijic.

The proceeds of the sales will benefit the renal failure and cancer patients
and their families.  Both of these diseases are expensive to treat and we are
asking for your support by participating in the day's activities.

Please come by to say hello, eat some wonderful food,
listen to some music and enjoy the day!

+++++++++++++++ ! Huerto Cafe Turns 9 ! +++++++++++++++

Huerto Cafe in Riberas del Pilar turned 9 years old on June 21st, 2023
appropriately on the Summer Solstice.

Our entryway was decorated for the occasion and guests were greeted with complimentary
Coronitas to help them cool down and quench their thirst.

As guests started to arrive, the food hors d'oeuvre table was readied
and beautifully presented to the hungry arrivals.

Javier Raygoza and his Orquesta Tipica prepared to entertain the
guests with delightful marimba music.

Rocio Meillon, always vigilant to her guests needs, oversaw all the details.

As is tradition, her guests brought her beautiful gifts to mark the day.

Guests gave speeches of thanks for all the wonderful years of delicious and nutritious food,
community camaraderie, public work and friendship.

Everyone had a grand time.

There were door prizes, a raffle for one of Julie Mignard's paintings...

...and as an added touch Rocio prepared a bag of Rocio's Blend
special coffee for each and every guest.

All in all, it was a great celebration.  Gracias Rocio.

Here's to many, many more!
